“I had the pleasure of working with Jim for some 10 years at Georgia-Pacific. I found Jim to be extremely professional. His commitment to safety and client comfort were always a primary consideration in the completion of a mission. His combination of technical skills and outgoing personality made him a pleasure to work with. Jim would be a huge asset to your flight operation.” – Dick Robbins, Aviation Director, Earthlink

“I have known Jim for a number of years socially and have found him to be a man of high moral value and impeccable integrity.” – Don Sykes, Captain/LCA, CitationShares and Delta Airlines (Retired)

After serving as a Law Enforcement Officer in the US Air Force, Jim spent nearly eight years in the banking and consumer finance industry filling various management roles. Having a passion for aviation however, he decided to return to school to complete a second college degree in Aerospace Technology with studies in aviation management and piloting.

Jim began his aviation career as a Flight Instructor, rapidly advancing into flying both on-demand charter and scheduled commuter airline operations. For the past twenty-three years he has worked in the corporate flight department for a major wood and paper products manufacturing company, Georgia-Pacific, fulfilling key support positions in Security Management, International Operations, financial accounting and reporting as well as facility management in addition to his duties as a senior captain.

Away from the passions of aviation, Jim enjoys time with family, the tranquility of fishing on a quiet lake, classic cars and singing in the church choir.
